    Honestly, it’s not his fault but his words reminded me of some time in the past that has really affected me. To hear them again hurt oh so suddenly that I had to fight tears. Once again, I’m reminded of the past me who turned to the piano in moments when she was hurt to seek for comfort. He doesn’t even know that the last time I played it was 4 years ago when I was so hurt and wounded by so much around me. And his words…became a reminder once again of a memory I wish I’d forget and how my fingers seem new to the keys or just refusing to touch them because if I did, I fear the memory will awaken.
